Planet 13’s DAZED! Lounge Lights Up the Las Vegas Cannabis Scene
Planet 13’s DAZED! consumption lounge brings a polished, only-in-Vegas take on cannabis hospitality to the company’s flagship “SuperStore” just west of the Strip. The lounge opened April 5, 2024, spans roughly 3,000 square feet, and sits inside the Planet 13 Entertainment Complex at 2548 W. Desert Inn Road—built expressly to let adults legally consume purchased products on site rather than risking hotel or casino violations.
The space is designed more like a boutique nightclub than a head shop: saturated wall art, plush booths, and playful “bong chandeliers” frame high-top tables where guests can settle in with flower, concentrates, or rotating canna-cocktails. The venue layers VIP seating and tech-forward entertainment into a social, camera-ready setting—features local food media highlighted when DAZED! debuted as a new, legal place to consume in Las Vegas.
Operational details are straightforward. DAZED! lists hours as noon–midnight Monday–Thursday and 11 a.m.–1 a.m. Friday–Sunday and notes the lounge is currently cash-only. While menus change, the throughline is premium flower, dab-friendly offerings, and zero-proof, THC-infused beverages—an approach shaped by Nevada’s rules that prohibit alcohol service in cannabis venues. Guests will find the address, current hours, and additional house information posted by the lounge.
Context matters in 2025. Nevada’s rollout of cannabis consumption lounges has been deliberate, producing only a handful of openings. Thrive Cannabis Marketplace’s Smoke & Mirrors—the state’s first licensed lounge—opened in February 2024 but shuttered in April 2025. Its closure left Planet 13’s DAZED! as the only state-sanctioned lounge then operating in Las Vegas, a reminder of both the promise and the challenges of this hospitality model as operators balance compliance costs, programming, and customer demand.
DAZED! itself followed a long regulatory path. Planet 13 first secured a prospective license in 2022, received state approval for a consumption-lounge license in 2023, and then set the grand opening date for April 5, 2024. Company statements described a first-of-its-kind, high-end lounge with VIP booths, canna-cocktails, and entertainment integrated directly with the SuperStore; local television coverage captured opening-night crowds and the team’s hospitality-first pitch.
For visitors, the value proposition is clear: consume legally, comfortably, and safely in a supervised environment a short hop from the Strip. Bring a valid government-issued ID showing you are 21+, plan to buy what you intend to consume on premises, and arrange a rideshare rather than driving. Because alcohol and on-site cannabis service cannot be mixed under Nevada rules, DAZED! leans into zero-proof options and concierge-style education to help guests dose responsibly and enjoy the experience.
Strategically, DAZED! is more than ambiance. With so few Nevada lounges reaching full operation—and with competitors pausing or closing—early operators carry outsized influence on whether the model scales. Planet 13’s lounge tests whether a Vegas-caliber, design-forward concept can fill the gap left by hotel and casino bans and convert SuperStore foot traffic into longer, higher-value visits. In the near term, DAZED! stands as a bellwether for cannabis hospitality in Las Vegas, blending spectacle with compliance while the rest of the market evaluates what works.
